Have some good and friendly chat with the owners and lucky me, another lucky draw, got a model of the Megane Trophy. ha ha ha.. In general, the Renaultsport owners in Malaysia do have some activities like drives and track days, and hopefully, we can have a big teh tarik or drive session together. At the moment, due to this differences ; well, Renaultsport is more sports car or hot hatchbacks rather than family moving vehicles as most of Renault Club Malaysia owners do owns, therefore some activities may separate, while some may do it together.

Anyway, the Lotus Renault F1 team are quite confident they can challenge the top podium finishers and get the top 3 or 4 places this season. It is too early to say but a good job after winning the podium in Australia F1 2 weeks ago.
Suprisingly, most Renaultsport car owners are much older than I expected, most of them >40 years old... Maybe "life begins at 40"?? ha ha ha. I think about 80% of the owners are above 40 years of age. According to TC Euro, they have sold >50 units of Megane RS250, 30+ delivered while others are waiting for their stocks. Hmmm... maybe if you want it, wait another 3-5 years? 40-50% depreciations... ha ha ha. There is always a possibility.

I personally congratulate TC Euro team for their commitment to push and market the Renault brand in Malaysia. It is an uphill tasks and they struggle for many years (from 2004) but with the MEGANE RS250, I think, is the right product at the right time for the right customer. Moreover, with Renault branding ini F1 (Red Bull Renault, Lotus Renault, Team Lotus Renault - AirAsia), hope it helps to increase and improve the brand equity for Renault and owners like us.
